 Dos Palos scored the most  runs they've had all season to find success  on Friday. They never let the Tranquillity Tigers onto the board and left with  a   29-0  victory. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest  win of the  season.
  Chaz Merrell was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He  didn't allow a single  earned run and  only one  hit while striking out nine over four innings pitched. Merrell was also stellar in the batter's box,  getting on base  in four of his five plate appearances with four  runs, three  RBI,  and a  triple.
 In other batting news, Dos Palos got a  massive  performance out of  Hernan Hernandez, who  got on base  in all four of his plate appearances with four  runs, four  RBI,  and a  triple.  Mason Soares was another key contributor,  going 3-for-4 with four  runs, four  RBI,  and a  stolen base.
 Dos Palos' victory bumped their record up to 8-10. As for Tranquillity, their loss was  their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which  dropped their record down to 0-8.
 Dos Palos will head out on the road to  square off against  Mendota at 4:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Tranquillity, they will stay at home for another  game and welcome Avenal at 4:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Tranquillity is facing Avenal at the right time seeing as Avenal is stuck on  a  four-game losing streak.
