Soccer Game Preview: Tecumseh vs. Piqua

The Tecumseh Arrows will face off against the Piqua Indians at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Tecumseh came up short against Shawnee on Wednesday, falling 9-2. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as Tecumseh came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked 244th, while Shawnee are ranked 570th).

Meanwhile, Piqua fell victim to Tippecanoe and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They lost 6-0 to the Red Devils.

Tecumseh's loss dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Piqua, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-4-1.

Tecumseh took their win against Piqua when the teams last played back in October of 2016 by a conclusive 7-0 score. Will the Arrows repeat their success, or do the Indians have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
