Softball Recap: North Jackson Comes Up Short

North Jackson lost against New Hope back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Chiefs fell just short of the Indians by a score of 3-2. The Chiefs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

North Jackson saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Josie McClendon, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

North Jackson's defeat dropped their record down to 8-14. As for New Hope, their victory bumped their record up to 14-20-1.

North Jackson didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 6-1 win against North Sand Mountain on the 8th. As for New Hope, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 4-2 victory against Kate Duncan Smith DAR on the 8th.
