Volleyball Recap: West Ashley Beats Ashley Ridge for Their Fourth Straight Victory

West Ashley waltzed into their contest on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Ashley Ridge Swamp Foxes. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

West Ashley never let Ashley Ridge on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-21, 25-23.

Caroline Robinson paced West Ashley's offense, picking up 14 kills. Robinson got some help from Mason Toporek and her 37 assists. Logan Walasek controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Ashley Ridge lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Cameron Gettings, who had 17 digs and one assist.

West Ashley's win bumped their record up to 15-9-1. As for Ashley Ridge, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-18 record this season.

As of now, neither West Ashley nor Ashley Ridge have any future games scheduled.
