Football Recap: Thornton Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Thornton lost against Gateway back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Trojans were outmatched by the Olympians and fell 45-8.

Ezekiel Rodriguez threw for 234 yards on 14 of 26 attempts. Rick Garcia was his top target, picking up 99 receiving yards.

Thornton's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Gateway, they moved to 3-6 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Thornton has already played their next game, a 68-3 loss against Centaurus on the 30th. As for Gateway, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 41-6 defeat against Cheyenne Mountain on the 30th.
