Recap: Muchin College Prep Mountain Lions vs. Noble Street College Prep Golden Tigers
After flying high against the DRW College Prep Cheetahs last Wednesday, the Muchin College Prep Mountain Lions came back down to earth. Muchin College Prep received a tough blow on Monday as they fell 35-17 to Noble Street College Prep. Muchin College Prep was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Noble Street College Prep apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in November of 2022.
Noble Street College Prep found their leader in underclassman Sarai Gonzalez, who scored nine points along with five rebounds and three steals. Gonzalez is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Akari McPhee, who scored eight points along with ten rebounds.
Muchin College Prep's loss dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Noble Street College Prep, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 6-8 record this season.
Muchin College Prep will be playing in front of their home fans against UIC College Prep at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Noble Street College Prep, they will head out on the road to face off against Holy Trinity at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
