Softball Game Preview: High Point Central Bison vs. South Davidson Wildcats

The High Point Central Bison will face off against the South Davidson Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for High Point Central's offense. They lost 6-0 to Eastern Guilford on Tuesday. The Bison have struggled against the Wildcats recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost meeting.

Meanwhile, South Davidson also failed to score in their most recent game. They came up short against West Davidson on Friday, falling 14-0. Having soared to a lofty 21 runs in the game before, the Wildcats' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

High Point Central's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for South Davidson, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-3 record this season.
