Basketball Recap: Mildred Wins Going Away Against Bremond

Mildred picked up another tournament win on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 52-38 win over the Bremond Tigers. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

Mildred had a senior duo take command as Brennan Moore went 7 for 15 on his way to 17 points and eight rebounds and Ashton Moore almost dropped a triple-double on ten points, nine rebounds, and ten assists. Those ten assists set a new season-high mark for Ashton. Pj Neason was another key player, putting up 11 points.

When it comes to explaining why Bremond lost, don't look at Braylon Estrada. Despite the final result, he posted nine points and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Tristan Morehead, who had eight points.

Mildred has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 5-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.5 points per game. As for Bremond, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Mildred wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, an 80-42 victory against Abbott on the 27th. As for Bremond, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 66-7 win against Penelope on the 27th.
