West Platte not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 18th (when they won 3-0). They put the hurt on the St. Joseph Christian Lions with a sharp 3-0 victory. For the Bluejays, this counts as revenge for the 3-1 win the Lions walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

West Platte's got stronger as the match went on, holding St. Joseph Christian to fewer and fewer points set over set. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-22, 25-21.

Catelyn Carlson paced West Platte's offense, picking up nine kills. Carlson got some help from Amber Rutherford and her 26 assists. Kendall Dover controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

West Platte is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-11-2 record this season. As for St. Joseph Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 10-5-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. West Platte will take on Lathrop at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for St. Joseph Christian, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Chillicothe at 7:00 p.m. on the 14th.
