Basketball Recap: Sylvan-Lucas' Losing Streak Snapped at Four Games

Sylvan-Lucas can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game on Saturday. They snuck past the Smith Center Redmen with a 44-40 win. This was payback for the Mustangs, who suffered a 59-43 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Sylvan-Lucas' first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Smith Center, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Sylvan-Lucas and Pike Valley will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Smith Center, they will be home for the holidays to greet Washington County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
