Baseball Recap: Broadwater Academy Find Success

While Broadwater Academy's victory against Northampton wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Vikings had just enough and edged out the Yellowjackets 7-5. The win continues a trend for the Vikings in their matchups with the Yellowjackets: they've now won three in a row.

Aidan Fuller was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three stolen bases and two runs. He has become a key player for Broadwater Academy: the team is 4-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 3-6-1 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Cohen Kellam, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

The victory got Broadwater Academy back to even at 7-7-1. As for Northampton, their loss was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Broadwater Academy will welcome StoneBridge at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Northampton, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Nandua at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
