In what's become a running theme this season, Delaware Academy gave their fans yet another huge victory on Tuesday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Norwich Purple Tornado a 9-0 shutout.
Alli Ferrara made a big impact no matter where she played. She kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 15 over seven innings pitched. Ferrara has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts every time she's pitched this season. Ferrara was also big at the plate, scoring three runs while going 2-for-4.
