Baseball Recap: Gettysburg Comes Up Short

Gettysburg was the 5-0 winner over Spring Grove when they last played one another back in April of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The Warriors fell just short of the Rockets by a score of 3-2 on Monday. The contest marked the Warriors' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Gettysburg's loss dropped their record down to 10-3. As for Spring Grove, their victory bumped their record up to 5-6-1.

Looking ahead, Gettysburg will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Carlisle at 4:15 p.m. As for Spring Grove, they will head out to square off against Dover at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The Eagles have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.75 runs per game on average), something the Rockets will no doubt try to take advantage of.
