Flag Football Game Preview: Desert Ridge Jaguars vs. Williams Field Black Hawks + Official Tickets

Desert Ridge is preparing for their first region matchup of the season on Thursday. They will look to defend their home field against the Williams Field Black Hawks at 6:00 p.m.

Desert Ridge's offense might be in the hot seat on Thursday considering what happened against O'Connor on Monday. They were beaten by the Eagles 31-0. While losing is never fun, the Jaguars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arizona flag football rankings (they are ranked 58th, while the Eagles are ranked seventh).

Meanwhile, Williams Field got themselves on the board against Westwood on Tuesday, but Westwood never followed suit. They breezed past the Warriors to the tune of 38-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Black Hawks.

Desert Ridge has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season. As for Williams Field, the win got them back to even at 4-4.

Everything went Desert Ridge's way against Williams Field in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as Desert Ridge made off with a 26-0 victory. Will the Jaguars repeat their success, or do the Black Hawks have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
