Basketball Game Preview: Palm Springs Indians vs. Marymount Sailors + How To Watch

The Palm Springs Indians and the Marymount Sailors will face off at 5:45 p.m. on Friday without much rest, having both just played. Palm Springs is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last four games.

Palm Springs is headed into the game after thoroughly thrashing Indio: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Indians blew the Rajahs out of the water with a 56-25 final score. The Indians have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three contests by 25 points or more this season.

Shayla Bates and Miley Flores were among the main playmakers for Palm Springs as the former dropped a double-double with 21 points and 15 boards and the latter posted 22 points and three steals. That makes it five consecutive games in which Bates has scored at least a third of the Indians' points. Another player making a difference was Bethenny Rivera, who had seven points along with ten rebounds and three steals.

Meanwhile, Marymount earned a 39-31 win over Archer School for Girls on Thursday. The Sailors haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Marymount now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Palm Springs, their win bumped their record up to 6-1.

Palm Springs skirted past Marymount 31-28 in their previous matchup back in December of 2024. Will the Indians repeat their success, or do the Sailors have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
