Baseball Recap: Monroe Victorious

Monroe won the last time they faced Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences and things went their way on Friday too. The Vikings came out on top against the Vipers by a score of 7-2. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Vikings.

Cesar Rojas was excellent, going 2-for-4 with three runs and two RBI. That's the most runs he has posted since back in May of 2024.

Monroe's victory bumped their record up to 14-8. As for Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-12.

Coincidentally, Monroe and Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences will both be playing Van Nuys the next time they take the field. The Vipers will head out to face the Wolves at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Vikings will head out to face them at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
