St. Augustine Prep put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against the Hammonton Blue Devils as they made off with a 19-1 victory. Considering the Hermits have won six games by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

St. Augustine Prep's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-0. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.2 runs over those games. As for Hammonton, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-4.

St. Augustine Prep and Hammonton should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps New Jersey Rankings. The Hermits will square off against Holy Ghost Prep at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank advantage (1 vs. 126). Meanwhile, Hammonton (ranked 21st) will meet Atlantic County Institute of Tech (ranked 126th) at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
