It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Buford can now relate to. They lost 3-0 to the Walton Raiders on Tuesday. The Wolves' defeat signaled the end of their eight-game winning streak.

Buford was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the third set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-19, 25-23.

Ella Cobb was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had 12 digs and four assists.

Buford's loss dropped their record down to 29-4. As for Walton, they have been performing well recently as they've won 18 of their last 22 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 26-6 record this season.

Buford does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Walton, they will square off against North Forsyth on Saturday.
