Nathan Crawford of Twelve Bridges is the California High School Football Player of the Week

Senior running back came up big in 41-20 win over Nevada Union.

After receiving more than 28,000 votes, Nathan Crawford of Twelve Bridges (Lincoln) has earned MaxPreps California High School Football Player of the Week honors.

Crawford helped Twelve Bridges knock off Nevada Union 41-20 by rushing for 236 yards and six touchdowns on 22 carries. The senior running back tallied 263 all-purpose yards

Here are the rest of this week's candidates, who received an additional 21,000 votes:

Brady Smigiel, Newbury Park: Sophomore quarterback threw seven touchdown passes with 322 yards on 21 of 29 passin in a 59-49 win over Golden Valley. He threw four TD strikes to his brother Beau.

Bryson Davis, Manteca: Senior running back ran for 342 yards on 36 carries with four touchdowns in a 42-35 win over VIsta del Lago. 



Jarret Nielsen, Jordan (Long Beach): Junior quarterback threw for 576 yards on 31 of 37 passing and five touchdowns in a 59-24 win over North (Torrance). 

Sir Autry, Hoover (San Diego): Junior running back ran for 206 yards on 14 carries with five touchdowns in a 52-14 win over Mountain Empire.

Ezekiel Osborne, Shafter: Sophomore quarterback tossed seven scoring strikes and 402 yards on 16 of 22 passing in a 55-7 win over West (Bakersfield).
