Superior is 8-2 against Miami since March of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Superior Panthers will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on the Miami Vandals at 3:45 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Miami will be up against a hot Superior team: the squad just extended their winning streak to four. Superior put the hurt on Duncan with a sharp 12-1 victory on Monday. While the Panthers didn't have the best season last year (they finished 3-12), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Lessenia Ramirez made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Ramirez was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3. Those hits were her first of the season.

In other batting news, Kadynce Toner was incredible, going 3-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. That's the most hits she has posted since back in March of 2024. Stephanie Lopez was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.

Meanwhile, Miami got the win against Desert Heights Prep on Wednesday by a conclusive 17-6. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Vandals.

Superior's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-1. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Miami, their victory bumped their record up to 4-2.
