Basketball Recap: Lone Grove Gets the Win

Lone Grove proved they can win big last Friday (they won by 42) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Tishomingo Indians, sneaking past 65-63. The Longhorns have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Indians, too.

Lone Grove's record is now 5-8. As for Tishomingo, their loss dropped their record down to 7-6.

Lone Grove has already played their next matchup, an 87-53 defeat against Riverside Indian on the 23rd. As for Tishomingo, they are taking a road trip to challenge Valliant at 8:00 p.m. on January 28th. One thing working in Valliant's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four games.
