Basketball Recap: Horton Takes Down Maranatha Christian Academy in a Playoff Battle

Horton had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They came out on top against the Maranatha Christian Academy Eagles by a score of 49-39 on Thursday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 55-51 back in January.

Maranatha Christian Academy lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Luke Shrader, who posted ten points and seven rebounds. He is also on a roll when it comes to blocks, as he's now posted two or more in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Daniel Dean, who dropped a double-double with 14 points and ten boards.
