Baseball Recap: Valle Catholic's Undefeated Season over After 12 Games

If Valle Catholic was riding high fresh off their 10-0 takedown of Kelly last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Warriors fell just short of the Kirkwood Pioneers by a score of 6-5 on Wednesday. The loss was the Warriors' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Valle Catholic fell to 11-1. As for Kirkwood, their win bumped their record up to 7-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Valle Catholic will venture away from home to challenge St. Pius X at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Kirkwood, they will head out to face off against Oakville at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday.
