Football Game Preview: Mount Carmel Academy vs. Sanchez

Sanchez will square off against Mount Carmel Academy at 7:00 PM on Friday. Both of these teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.

Things haven't been easy for Sanchez, and their contest last Friday only extended their streak of losses to three. They took a serious blow against St. Joseph Catholic, falling 18-66. The state rankings had actually given Sanchez a slight edge heading into the game, making this hurt that much more.

As for Mount Carmel Academy, it's was a good run, but they finally witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak. They were dealt a punishing 14-87 loss at the hands of Baytown Christian. The game was over by the end of the first half, with no points scored by either team from that point forward.

With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better outcome in this one. We'll see which team satisfies their hunger and which team leaves with an empty stomach.
