Jackson won the last time they faced Hoover and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Polar Bears came out on top against the Vikings by a score of 3-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Polar Bears.

Jackson was especially dominant in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-13, 23-25, 25-17.

Jackson found their leader in sophomore Maren Evanto, who had 14 digs. Haley Thompson also deserves some recognition as she had her first blocks of the season.

Jackson's win bumped their record up to 12-5. As for Hoover, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three matches and leaves them with a 13-4 record.

Jackson and Hoover should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings. The Polar Bears will take on Green at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank advantage (24 vs. 242). Meanwhile, Hoover (ranked 76th) will meet McKinley (ranked 444th) at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday.
