Softball Recap: Lakeside Comes Up Short

Lakeside lost against Ouachita Christian on Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Lakeside might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 8-1 to Ouachita Christian, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lakeside saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was McKenna Chreene, who went 2-for-3 with one double.

Lakeside's loss dropped their record down to 19-5. As for Ouachita Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-9 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lakeside will challenge Weston at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Ouachita Christian, they will take on Delhi Charter at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
