Village Christian Academy came into Tuesday's matchup looking for another win against Cape Fear Christian Academy, but Mary Andemichael wouldn't allow it. The Eagles took down the Knights 32-15 on Tuesday for which the team can thank Andemichael, who posted eight points and six steals. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 2.5 steals per game.

Cape Fear Christian Academy's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cape Fear Christian Academy will venture away from home to challenge Sandhills Classical Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Village Christian Academy, they are packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will face off against Northwood Temple Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. This will be the Knights' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
