Southland Academy scored the most runs they've had this season on Monday, but it wasn't enough. They took a 13-10 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Westwood Wildcats. Even if the Raiders couldn't come away with the victory, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their hitters, which had struggled int the games prior.

Southland Academy's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Westwood, their win ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Southland Academy will host Stratford Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Westwood, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Westwood Wildcats take on Grace Christian Academy Cougars at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Grace Christian Academy is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.6 runs per game this season.
