Baseball Recap: Northampton Takes a Loss

Chincoteague hit Northampton with a six-run third inning on Thursday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Yellowjackets came up short against the Ponies, falling 14-4. The Yellowjackets have struggled against the Ponies recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost meeting.

Lucas Kindt made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with one run and one double.

Northampton's loss dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Chincoteague, their win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-10-1.
