Basketball Recap: St. Thomas Academy Takes a Loss

St. Thomas Academy and Harding squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but St. Thomas Academy had to settle for second. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 66-65 to the Harding Knights. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Saturday (64), the Cadets still had to take the loss.

St. Thomas Academy moved to 14-11 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.8 points over those games. As for Harding, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-10 record this season.

As of now, neither St. Thomas Academy nor Harding have any future games scheduled.
