Softball Recap: Saturday's Victory Is Eunice's Ninth in Last 12 Outings

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Eunice had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They put the hurt on the West Feliciana Saints with a sharp 17-2 victory. Considering the Bobcats have won 14 games by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Eunice is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.0 runs over those games. As for West Feliciana, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-15.

Coming up, Eunice will venture away from home to take on Grant at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Cougars will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Bobcats surely won't give up without a fight. West Feliciana does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
