Basketball Recap: Long Beach Poly Takes a Loss

After soaring to 57 points the game before, Long Beach Poly was a bit more limited in their contest on Thursday. They had to suffer through a 65-23 loss at the hands of the Harvard-Westlake Wolverines. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Jackrabbits have suffered since December 10, 2024.

Long Beach Poly's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Harvard-Westlake, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-1.

Looking ahead, Long Beach Poly will face off against Cypress at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for Harvard-Westlake, they will be taking part in a tournament against Francis Parker at 5:15 p.m. on Saturday.
