Volleyball Recap: Camryn Buckley Key Part of Team Effort in Hawks Win

Spruce Creek picked up another tournament win on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the University Christian Christians. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Hawks.

Spruce Creek got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Camryn Buckley out in front who had eight assists and five aces. Those five aces gave Buckley a new career-high.

Buckley wasn't the only good servers: Spruce Creek was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in seven consecutive matches.

Spruce Creek's win bumped their record up to 13-8. As for University Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-13.

Spruce Creek wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Bartram Trail on the 4th. As for University Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Matanzas on the 4th.
