Softball Recap: New Iberia Yellowjackets vs. Mamou Demons
New Iberia posted their closest win since March 27, 2025 on Tuesday. They skirted past the Mamou Demons 13-11. The Yellowjackets haven't had any issues with the Demons recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.
Evie Sherville looked comfortable as she tossed two innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks any time she's pitched this season.

At the plate, New Iberia let Palyn Freeman and Shaylee Gibson run wild.
