Basketball Recap: Cade Mcneill Key Part of Team Effort in Crusaders Win

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Northside Christian Academy walked away with it. They took down the Laurence Manning Academy Swampcats 68-54 on Saturday.

Northside Christian Academy got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Cade McNeill out in front who went 8-for-13 to rack up 21 points in addition to eight boards and five steals. That's the most rebounds McNeill has posted since back in December of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Dalton Gadson, who went 6-for-12 on his way to 17 points.

Northside Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 16-8. As for Laurence Manning Academy, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-15.

Northside Christian Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 94-69 loss against Augusta Christian on the 17th. Laurence Manning Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
