Softball Recap: Shasta Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Shasta's offense. They fell 4-0 to the Foothill Cougars on Tuesday. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Wolves haven't been shut out since back in March.

Shasta is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-10. As for Foothill, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-3-1 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Shasta will challenge rival Red Bluff at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Foothill is set to take on their familiar foe Pleasant Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
