Recap: Buffalo Bison vs. Poca The Dots
The Buffalo Bison entered their tilt with the Poca The Dots with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. Buffalo came out on top against Poca by a score of 32-21 on Saturday. Despite the victory, that was the fewest points Buffalo has scored all year.
Buffalo got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Anna Boggess out in front who scored five points along with nine rebounds. Lauren White was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with five rebounds.
Chloe Wheeler and Hanna Moore certainly did their best on Saturday to try and avoid the loss. Wheeler scored five points, while Moore scored five points.
Buffalo's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Poca, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-5.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Buffalo will be home for the holidays to greet Charleston Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Charleston Catholic focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 on Saturday. Poca will be home for the holidays to greet Sissonville at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Sissonville focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 11 on Saturday.
