Volleyball Recap: Central Cambria Takes a Loss

Central Cambria was the 3-0 winner over Westmont Hilltop when they last played one another on Tuesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Red Devils fell just short of the Hilltoppers by a score of 1-0 on Saturday.

Erica Brouse paced Central Cambria's offense, picking up four kills. Brouse got some help from Riley Kauffman and her six assists. Finally, Allie Dziabo kept Central Cambria's defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.

Central Cambria's defeat dropped their record down to 10-3-1. As for Westmont Hilltop, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-6.

Central Cambria didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Bedford on the 16th. As for Westmont Hilltop, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against Richland on the 16th.
