You can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Cornerstone Christian's strategy against Austin Classical on Monday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Cornerstone Christian Lions blew the Austin Classical Mustangs out of the water with a 77-38 final score. The Lions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 matchups by 25 points or more this season.

Despite the defeat, Austin Classical saw an underclassman step up: freshman Levi Marshall posted 22 points. The dominant performance also gave Marshall a new career-high in three-point shooting accuracy (50%). Another player making a difference was Boone Foshea, who scored nine points.

Cornerstone Christian's win bumped their record up to 17-6. As for Austin Classical, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 9-17.
