Basketball Recap: Luck Takes a Loss

Luck was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They fell 44-36 to the Northwood Evergreens. The Cardinals were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Evergreens earlier this season, when they won 50-39.

Luck's defeat dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Northwood, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 7-10.

Luck and Northwood could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Wisconsin Rankings. Luck will square off against Clear Lake at 5:45 p.m. on Friday down 218 places (344 vs. 126). Similarly, Northwood (ranked 356th) will meet Webster (ranked 122nd) at 5:45 p.m. on Friday.
