Soccer Game Preview: West Florence vs. Ridge View

The West Florence Knights will take on the Ridge View Blazers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The timing is sure in West Florence's favor as the team sits on four straight wins at home while Ridge View has been banged up by five consecutive losses on the road.

West Florence is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of South Carolina's top teams: Blythewood, who was ranked fourth at the time (West Florence was ranked 19th). The Knights fell just short of the Bengals by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday. The match was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but West Florence couldn't quite close it out.

Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for Ridge View's offense. They lost 8-0 to Blythewood on Thursday.

Ridge View's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for West Florence, their defeat dropped their record down to 17-3.
