Basketball Recap: Brown's Win Ends Seven-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Brown won the last time they faced Iroquois and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Brown Bears came out on top in a nail-biter against the Iroquois Raiders, sneaking past 37-34. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bears.

Iroquois lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Fifi Munezero, who posted five points and four blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Ty'Aiona Clay-Toole, who earned 13 points in addition to five rebounds and four steals.

Brown's win ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-12. As for Iroquois, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last 12 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season.

Brown has already played their next game (against Jeffersontown), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Iroquois will face off against Doss at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
