Bishop McLaughlin Catholic won the last time they faced Bell Creek Academy and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Hurricanes were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Panthers. The Hurricanes not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 9th (when they won 3-0).

One reason for the win was Bishop McLaughlin Catholic's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-14, 25-12.

Their offense was headlined by Audrey Arciniega and Roxana Moore, who picked up 15 kills apiece. They got some help from Mackenziee Graf and her 25 assists. Sabrina DeMarco controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Bell Creek Academy's loss came despite strong showings from Luciana Suarez Barrero and Lyla Hunt. Suarez Barrero had nine digs and eight assists, while Hunt had 14 digs and two assists. Hunt is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 12 or more in each of the last six games she's played.

The victory made it two in a row for Bishop McLaughlin Catholic and bumps their season record up to 10-8. As for Bell Creek Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-11 record this season.

Bishop McLaughlin Catholic didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Tampa Prep on the 25th. As for Bell Creek Academy, they have also already played their next match, a 3-1 win against Cambridge Christian on the 25th.
