Baseball Recap: Loretto Mustangs vs. Scotts Hill Lions
Loretto scored the most runs they've had all season to find success on Friday. They put the hurt on the Scotts Hill Lions with a sharp 12-1 win. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for Loretto considering their one-run performance the matchup before.
Mason Tidwell made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He tossed four innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. Tidwell was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.
In other pitching news, Dillon Thompson looked comfortable as he pitched an inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive pitching appearances.
