Recap: John Glenn Little Muskies vs. Coshocton Redskins

Even though the Coshocton Redskins scored an imposing 64 points on Friday, the John Glenn Little Muskies still came out on top. John Glenn secured a 68-64 W over Coshocton. That result was just more of the same for these two, as John Glenn also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2022.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead John Glenn to victory, but perhaps none more so than Caleb Larrick, who scored 14 points along with eight rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Cooper Briggs, who scored 15 points along with two steals.

When it comes to explaining why Coshocton lost, one person who can't be blamed is Colton Conkle. Despite the final result, he scored 29 points along with seven rebounds and five assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Conkle has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Alex Taylor, who scored 15 points.

John Glenn's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Coshocton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-3.

John Glenn won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Marietta at 7:30 p.m. on January 6th. Marietta will be coming into the game with an undefeated record on the line. Coshocton won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Madonna at 5:00 p.m. on January 6th. Madonna will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in their respective state's rankings (they are ranked 601st in West Virginia, while Coshocton is ranked 273rd in Ohio).
