Softball Game Preview: Webster Thomas Titans vs. Brighton Bruins

The Webster Thomas Titans will take on the Brighton Bruins at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Webster Thomas has three straight victories, Brighton has three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

On Monday, Webster Thomas got the win against Spencerport by a conclusive 13-1. Considering the Titans have won five games by more than six runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Brighton came up short against Webster Schroeder on Monday, falling 12-1.

Webster Thomas' win bumped their record up to 5-7. As for Brighton, their loss dropped their record down to 2-9.

Everything went Webster Thomas' way against Brighton in their previous meeting two weeks ago, as Webster Thomas made off with a 16-3 victory. Will the Titans repeat their success, or do the Bruins have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
