Softball Recap: Bexley's Winning Streak Snapped at Three Games

After flying high against Whitehall-Yearling last Wednesday, Bexley came back down to earth. The Lions took a 13-9 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Worthington Christian Warriors on Friday. The Lions' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Elle Cochran was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run while going 2-for-4. Alison Lefkowitz was another key player, scoring two runs while going 1-for-3.

Bexley's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Worthington Christian, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Bexley will square off against rival Grandview Heights at 5:15 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Worthington Christian is set to face off against their familiar foe Whitehall-Yearling at 5:15 p.m. on Monday.
