Basketball Recap: Canal Winchester Takes a Loss

Canal Winchester was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were one points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 55-54 heartbreaker at the hands of the Teays Valley Vikings. The Indians were not able to make up for their defeat to the Vikings from their previous meeting back in February.

Canal Winchester's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Teays Valley, with the victory, they broke their seven-game losing streak and moved their record to 1-6.

Canal Winchester will be playing at home against Independence at 7:30 p.m. on December 27th. Teays Valley and Logan Elm will round out the year against one another at at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
