Soccer Recap: Strongsville's Win on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Five

Strongsville barely beat Green the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Mustangs put the hurt on the Bulldogs with a sharp 4-1 win on Saturday. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 3-0.

The victory (which was Strongsville's fifth in a row) raised their record to 8-1-2. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 37 goals over those five matchups. As for Green, their loss dropped their record down to 6-6-2.

Looking ahead, Strongsville will head out on the road to challenge Brunswick at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Green, they will welcome Hudson at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
