Basketball Recap: Tallulah Falls Gets Big Victory over Higher-Ranked George Walton Academy

After losing to George Walton Academy the last time they met, Tallulah Falls decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Tallulah Falls Indians came out on top against the George Walton Academy Bulldogs by a score of 40-33 on Tuesday. The win was all the more spectacular given the Indians' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 267th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 28th).

When it comes to explaining why George Walton Academy lost, don't look at Ashley Hill. Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double on 14 points and 17 rebounds. What's more, Hill also racked up two blocks, the most she's had since back in December of 2023. Lora Kate Malcom was another key player, putting up 11 points and seven boards.
